National Capital Region Freestyle accepts the top skiers from the surrounding Ottawa area clubs – Fortune Freestyle and Calabogie Peaks.
NCR Freestyle is a non-profit organization led by volunteers. Our CFSA-certified coaches provide structured high performance training for competitive athletes. Our goal is to develop skiers on their path towards a provincial team. NCR teams are invite only, looking for the best skiers in the region.
NCR Freestyle normally runs two competitive teams: NCR Slopestyle and NCR Moguls (not currently operating). Both teams train twice a week starting end of November until Mid-March. Athletes on the team participate in water ramp training camps, trampoline development camps, and fitness sessions to further prepare them for snow.
NCR Freestyle also runs water ramp programs open to all athletes in the summer months. Coached by regional team coaches, these camps are a great opportunity to train with high performance athletes and coaches. Please contact us below if you are interested in attending water ramp camps with us!
NCR Slopestyle is the regional park and pipe development team for the Ottawa and surrounding areas. This team is an athlete’s next step after a club level competitive teams, and seeks to prepare athletes for higher level competitions and teams. This is an invite only team and selections take place in April.
